Carrie carries goodwill to others

Carrie Underwood, the fourth season grand winner of American Idol, made her season holiday wish come true by donating a generous amount to her hometown in Oklahoma.

Through her C.A.T.S. Foundation (Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation), Carrie gave a hefty donation of $350,000 for four schools in her hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma just in time for the holidays last year.

Carrie's donation will help the four schools to buy new computers for their computer labs, playground and physical fitness equipment. There will also be new musical instruments and the band uniforms for each schools.

Carrie may be the most successful AI grand winner to date. With all the platinum records, countless awards in music, Carrie's success puts American Idol to be the true reality search for future music icons.
